About

Made at our kitchen table in Cheyenne.

The two of us

We're a husband-and-wife team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This started as a hobby, a way to make something nice for family, and it got a little out of hand. Now we make bath bombs in small batches, by hand, a few dozen at a time.

Every scent is named after something here: prairie sage after a storm, the cottonwoods along the river, the hot springs, the wild roses by the creek. If it doesn't smell like Wyoming to us, we don't make it.

We use simple ingredients: baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt and a little oil, essential oils for the scent, and water-soluble color that fizzes bright and leaves no ring in the tub.

Draft copy. Mom and Dad, tell us the real story and we'll swap this out.

How we make them

Small batches, by hand

The workspace
  1. Mix the dry ingredients: baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt and cornstarch.
  2. Work in the butters, oils and scent until it holds like damp sand.
  3. Press each bomb by hand and let it cure for a day or two.
  4. Wrap it tight, label it, and box it up for you.
